suggest that users stop using portable - it defeats the purpose of this site (I hope the person making this request is NOT getting credit for making it!)

Whose looking for credit Thomas? All I’m doing is posting suggestions that I personally think would enhance the software. I’m not looking for any special favours. Just check back to all the programs where there's been a message that says the best suggestions will be given life time licences. On those days I hardly bother to post. Not surprisingly you'll see loads of users that only ever comment when they think they may get something for free. I post every day because I enjoy spending some time checking out the program and trying to suggest what I’d like to see included that in my opinion would improve the program. I've already said this in answer to someone else’s complaint and I’ve tried to explain why I think programs would be better made portable, so I'm not going to do so again. If you are interested in why I think portable is good then go check the post above where I made the suggestion in the first place as I’ve answered someone else’s complaint with why.

By the way, tell me how it defeats the purpose of this suggestion wall? I thought it was for the community to make suggestions. That's exactly what I’m doing, making a suggestion that i think this software would be enhanced if there was a portable version. That's my opinion. why you want to spend time complaining about others suggestions; instead you should be thinking of ways to improve the software yourself.. In fact your comment here in this Idea Informer is the one that defeats the purpose.
